Amber & Jay’s Rustic Chic Wedding at The Broadmoor | Colorado Springs, Colorado

Amber and Jay’s wedding day at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado was the kind of celebration that felt thoughtful, personal, and full of personality from start to finish. With a rustic chic design, soft pink accents, and cowhide details woven throughout, every part of the day felt intentional and true to who they are.

The day began with Amber and Jay getting ready separately on the Broadmoor property. Amber spent the morning in a suite overlooking the resort, surrounded by her closest friends and family. The iconic pink architecture of The Broadmoor made the perfect backdrop and tied beautifully into the wedding’s color palette. One of the sweetest moments of the morning happened quietly, when Amber helped her grandmother with finishing makeup touches. It was a simple, tender moment that said a lot about the kind of day this would be.

Jay got ready with his groomsmen elsewhere on the property, spending time together in the resort’s bar and lounge. Each groomsman wore a different bolo tie, a small detail that reflected their individual personalities while still feeling cohesive. It was relaxed, fun, and set the tone for the rest of the day.

Before the ceremony, Amber and Jay headed to a small chapel on site for a first touch. They did not see each other, but they shared a quiet moment holding hands and taking everything in before walking down the aisle. It was intimate and emotional in a way that felt very them.

The ceremony took place inside the chapel, where family and friends filled the space completely. It felt close and meaningful, with everyone fully present as Amber and Jay exchanged vows. After they were pronounced married, guests gathered outside the church for a joyful confetti exit. Amber and Jay drove away in Jay’s cherry red El Camino, complete with a custom license plate featuring their wedding date, which made for an unforgettable send off.

From there, everyone headed up to Cheyenne Lodge at The Broadmoor, where cocktail hour kicked off with incredible views of the surrounding landscape. Guests played mini golf, tried their hand at lasso practice, and soaked in the scenery. As if the timing could not have been better, a full rainbow appeared just for Amber and Jay, stretching across the sky and stopping everyone in their tracks.

The reception was full of energy from the moment it began. Guests filled the dance floor, enjoyed amazing food, and celebrated well into the night. The mix of rustic details, personal touches, and genuine joy made the entire evening feel effortless and fun.

Amber and Jay’s wedding at The Broadmoor was not about following trends or doing things a certain way. It was about creating a day that reflected their story, their people, and the life they are building together. It was truly a night to remember and an honor to document.

If you are planning a wedding at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs or another Colorado destination and want your day documented in a way that feels real, personal, and true to you, we would love to connect and hear what you are dreaming up.
