Cindy and Andrew’s wedding day in Vail, Colorado was a thoughtful blend of mountain scenery, meaningful traditions, and an atmosphere that felt deeply personal from start to finish. With separate getting ready spaces, a quiet first look in the gardens, and a celebration filled with cultural moments, their day unfolded naturally and intentionally.
The morning began with Cindy and Andrew getting ready separately at a nearby hotel in Vail. Cindy’s space was calm and light-filled, setting the tone for a day that felt centered and present. Her details reflected a soft, romantic palette with lavender tones, white florals, and subtle pops of peach that carried throughout the entire wedding design.
Andrew’s getting ready moments were relaxed and understated, surrounded by close family and friends. Both mornings felt unhurried, allowing space for anticipation to build before the day officially began.

Cindy and Andrew chose to see each other for the first time at the Vail Botanic Garden, a quiet and intimate setting surrounded by greenery. Their first look was emotional without being performative, one of those moments that felt private even while being documented.
We continued portraits throughout the garden, using the natural paths, bridges, and surrounding foliage to frame their connection. Cindy’s dress moved beautifully against the greenery, and Andrew’s suit complemented the earthy tones of the landscape. These portraits felt organic and unforced, letting the setting support the moment rather than overpower it.

The ceremony took place at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colorado, with guests seated beneath towering windows and surrounded by forest views. The ceremony design carried the same soft lavender florals seen earlier in the day, lining the aisle with lush arrangements that added texture without feeling overly styled.
As Cindy walked down the aisle, the space felt full of warmth and intention. The ceremony was heartfelt and grounded, allowing the emotion of the moment to lead.

One of the most memorable parts of the day came during the reception, when Cindy and Andrew surprised their guests with a traditional dragon dance to honor Cindy’s Vietnamese heritage. As drums filled the room, the dragon moved through the space, weaving between tables and drawing guests into the experience. It was joyful, energetic, and completely unforgettable.
Later in the evening, the couple participated in Chào Bàn, a Vietnamese wedding tradition where the couple visits each table to greet guests, share drinks, and express gratitude. This moment brought a strong sense of connection into the reception, turning the room into something that felt communal and celebratory rather than formal.

The reception design at Donovan Pavilion balanced elegance with warmth. Tables were styled with low floral arrangements, candlelight, and soft purple accents that reflected the overall color palette. As the sun set, golden light poured through the pavilion’s windows, giving way to a lively evening filled with laughter, dancing, and shared toasts.
From group shots filled with energy to quieter moments between Cindy and Andrew, the reception captured the full range of what the day represented.

Cindy and Andrew’s Vail wedding was a true reflection of who they are. It honored family, culture, and connection while allowing space for joy and spontaneity. From their first look in the gardens to the dragon dance that lit up the reception, every part of the day felt intentional and deeply felt.
