Shelby was Daniel’s Jungle Cruise guide, and after a ride filled with smiles and fun, Daniel couldn’t resist asking for her number. A European Romance Right Here in California

Shelby had always dreamed of a romantic, European-inspired engagement session, and Malaga Cove was the perfect backdrop. Located in Palos Verdes Estates, this area is known for its old-world charm and breathtaking ocean views, making it ideal for couples seeking a unique and picturesque location for their engagement photos in Palos Verdes. We began the shoot at Malaga Cove Square, where the Mediterranean-style architecture transported Shelby and Daniel into a scene that felt like a classic European romance.

From there, we moved to the coastline, where the cliffs and expansive ocean views provided a stunning contrast. Overlooking the ocean, with waves gently crashing below, Shelby and Daniel embraced the moment, feeling as if they were living their own romantic movie. The presence of wild peacocks and vibrant begonias added a whimsical touch, making each photo feel magical and unique.

We continued the engagement session at Malaga Cove Beach, locally known as RAT Beach—short for “Right After Torrance.” This beach is the northernmost and sandiest in Palos Verdes Estates and is surrounded by rocky coves and steep cliffs, providing a variety of beautiful backdrops for Palos Verdes engagement photography.
